If you are applying for an extended permit or citizenship or renewing your residence permit card or residence card, it is possible that you do not need to visit a service point to prove your identity. Temporary protection residence permit cards cannot be applied for in Enter Finland as of 10 December 2025 due to data system development. The online application is expected to be back in use at the end of January or in the beginning of February 2026.
