Use this form only to apply for the renewal of your own residence permit card or residence card.

It is not possible to apply for the renewal of a minor child’s card in the online service Enter Finland. You need to visit a service point of the Finnish Immigration Service to apply for the renewal of your child’s card. You do not have to fill in the child’s application beforehand.

If you are applying for a residence permit card for yourself and for your minor child at the same time, follow these instructions:

  1. Fill in and submit your own application in Enter Finland.
  2. Book an appointment for proving your identity at a service point of the Finnish Immigration Service for yourself and your child in our appointment system. Remember to select “For a family” in the appointment system. You can find instructions on how to book an appointment on the website of the Finnish Immigration Service.
