If you are applying for an extended permit or citizenship or renewing your residence permit card or residence card, it is possible that you do not need to visit a service point to prove your identity. For more information about when visiting a service point is not necessary, see the page Identification.

Log in here if you have Finnish online banking credentials, an identity card with chip or a mobile certificate. EU citizens can also use their eIDAS identification to log in.

If you have previously used the online service with your email address, log in to your account using your email address and change the login method for your account. For instructions on how to start using strong identification, see the page migri.fi/identification. After making the change, you must always use the strong identification method you selected (for instance, your online banking credentials) when you log in to your Enter Finland account.
